Calculation and experimental method to determine the cutting force on the operations of removal of grate in straight-line electric welding tubes

The object of research is the process of removing internal and external burrs in the production of longitudinal electric welded pipes. To determine the optimal design of the internal burr rod and the outer burr removal unit, a computational and experimental method of cutting force components has been developed. An analysis of the schemes for removing external and internal burrs was carried out, and the chip shortening coefficients and force components were calculated. The developed methodology is implemented in the form of a single calculation algorithm in the PTC Mathcad Prime 3.1 program.
