The article describes an electronic fuel supply control system for a locomotive diesel engine. The results of the experimental research of a Д50 type diesel engine equipped with a standard fuel supply system and an experimental fuel supply system with fuel supply control are presented. An opportunity to significantly improve the fuel economy and exhaust gases toxicity characteristics for the diesel engine with the experimental fuel supply system has been demonstrated.
