The control system of maintenance and repair of a gas diesel engine « as is » is offered. Information on temperature of the completed gases in each of the cylinders served as an operating element in the system. Normative values of diagnostic parameters for estimation of engine maintenance were justified. Algorithms of inaccuracies search at the aberration of parameters beyond the limits of tolerance were developed.
