Method of Generating a Knowledge Base of Structural Synthesis of Route Process

Developing computer automated aided process planning (CAPP) systems is an important way to improve the technological preparation for production engineering. The use of such systems allows to raise the per formance of technologi s t s work by automatically generating process plans and to improve their quality by using the experience of the most qualified experts. Carriers of knowledge in this area are those mentioned technologists, not owning information technology of a knowledge base building. To solve this problem, it is necessary to develop for generation of a knowledge base a method and expert system that should render possible using a slightly modified plain language in a form of standard route sheets. The article describes a new method that enables generating a knowledge base of structural synthesis route process. This method built into SPRUT TP system is proved to be very effective.
