Formation attempt of generalized approach to a problem of consideration of mechanisms as и particular case in the mechanistic systems containing kinematic, flexible and dynamic links is presented. On the basis of theorems on structure of rational mechanisms all codes of four-, six-, eight-, ten-, and twelve-ladder closed kinematic chains without redundant constraints are calculated. The reduced theorems and codes can he used for the structural analysis and a synthesis of the one- and multidirectional mechanisms containing single and multiple (combined) hinges, kinematic pairs of different mobility, flexible and dynamic links. Instances of unusual (paradoxical) crank sets of link mechanisms with complex double joints detected by the author are cited.
