Particularities of modelling the thermal field of multipiece piston of reheated diesel

The article deals with general principals of the contact heat exchange theory, some equations to determine thermal resistance components are presented. Main aspects affecting thermal resistance between multipiece piston components are considered. Computation schemes to determine the multipiece piston thermal and stress-strain states are shown. Simulation results are shown and analyzed.
