Model of Longitudinal Travel of a Vehicle over Cross-Country Terrain

The study determines the relationships that define a spatial attitude of a mobile robot (vehicle) when moving over cross-country terrain. Taking into account individual road conditions for each wheel of a four-wheel vehicle, a dynamic model of longitudinal travel is created and represented as a first-order differential equation. It is shown that the acceleration capability of the vehicle depends on the transmission ratio.
